The Florentine Steak is a must-try , but there is a world of difference between tasting it at a restaurant and learning how to cook and enjoy it with friends!
Cooking the Florentine Steak is a ritual for us Tuscans. Like all rituals, it only happens on special occasions. First of all, the steak is a communal dish, meant to be shared.
This experience, rich in history and anecdotes, starts with choosing the best steak after learning to distinguish the different cuts. Then, guided by our friend Chef Alessandro, you will take a walk in the garden where you will select all the ingredients to prepare your special lunch.
You will pick the freshest vegetables to create delicious bruschetta and all the side dishes to accompany the steak. Beware of anyone trying to sell you a plate of pasta with the steak! The steak is the main event, and everything revolves around it. No pasta this time!
